It’s kind of fun to do the impossible. – Walt Disney

Magic Kingdom Park opened its gates in 1971, and is the single most visited theme park in the world today. Featuring Cinderella’s Castle as its centerpiece, the most photographed object in the world, Magic Kingdom’s 6 lands encompass 41 world class attractions for all members of the family to enjoy.

New to the Magic Kingdom is New Fantasyland, an expanded land filled with the characters of Disney’s most fabled fairytales. Swing side-to-side on the brand new Seven Drawfs Mine Train family coaster. Be Our Guest restaurant is quickly becoming the most popular dining location in all of Walt Disney World and requires an advanced reservation. Also new is the Voyage of the Little Mermaid family dark ride, an under-the-sea adventure into the very story of the Little Mermaid animated film.

Magic Kingdom Park is world famous for its trifecta of mountains, some of the most popular theme park attractions in the world. Space Mountain is a high-speed roller coaster in total darkness, where riders sit in a toboggan style space ship as they race through the great unknown. Splash Mountain is world famous for its 55 ft plunge into a briar patch, and is sure to get its guests soaked. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a white knuckle coaster with tight turns and many random moments of “airtime”, or the sensation of being lifted out of your seat.

Beyond Magic Kingdom’s many exciting attractions are character experiences and shows that are essential to visiting the happiest place on earth. Wishes, the nightly firework spectacular, brings the family together after a long day in the park while the Main Street Electrical Parade puts guests closer than ever to the many storied characters of the Walt Disney history.
